Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone

We haven't posted anything in awhile because it's been busy around here. Thanksgiving and Christmas kind of snuck up on us. It's been great to see all of our families over the holidays. Brody passed the test and didn't try to eat the tree or the ornaments. This year has been a great year and we can only hope 2009 will be just as eventful! Hopefully we will post before 2010!!

After 8 "intense" weeks of puppy training Brody graduated from puppy class. He also lost three teeth in one day. During puppy play time a tooth went flying across the room. It was Brodys! haha Hopefully his new teeth with grow in soon. We are glad those needle sharp teeth are falling out.

Brody's Blog

Brody has been keeping us busy. Yes, he still is the most exciting thing we have going on in our lives. School has begun and Brody is excelling in world geography. Stay tuned for a Halloween costume Grandma Lou Lou bought him today. We have to make sure he is dead asleep to get it anywhere near him.

....... We had an awesome time at Christine's 3oth birthday last night. Cousins, family, and friends. It was a blast. I guess it was so much fun that I forgot to take a picture. I'll hunt some down so this blog looks like we do more than take pictures of Brody!!

Another Beach Day

Today Brody once again tired himself out at the beach. Today Royal (big bull dog) and Brady (big Lab) let Brody know he is only 20 pounds. He was jumping all over them and they were a little too rough with him. So, as big as we think he is he might no be in beach playing shape for another two weeks. He is growing FAST!!

Sooo Tired

Today was a great day for the little boy. We went to Petco to buy some shampoo and not being used to other dogs Brody went a little crazy. He jumped on top of a Rotweiller and was pouncing on a Boxer puppy and a chocolate lab puppy. Brody was very excited to see friends that looked like him. Needless to say, we are signing him up for puppy training/socialization classes in a couple weeks. We are looking forward to it.





Jerry and I took a ride down Marshfield to visit the Hazeltons and see how Brody would react to the beach. Brody loved the water and is a Marshfield natural. He's not even scared of seaweed!! The Hazelton's seemed to be relaxing and enjoying the afternoon despite the overcast weather. On the ride home Brody was so tired he fell asleep in his water dish. I don't think I've ever heard a human snore as loud as he did. The video explains it all.

Yesterday was Wildlife Wednesday. Colin (one of the boys I watch) and I were driving in Marshfield and a beautiful deer pranced across the street in front of the car. She was simply beautiful. I couldn't get me camera out fast enough but as we drove on we saw a group of wild turkeys on the side of the road. This I had to get! I snapped a few pictures to share. I contemplated trying to capture one and trading it in at Gerard Farms for 50 delicious turkey sandwiches but figured it would be easier to just go buy one. Hope you like the pics!

Introducing....Broderford Baitrunner of Burkhall Mulcahy (AKA...Brody)


Our newest addition to the family was waiting for us at Mary Lou and Tony's house when we returned from St. Kitts. We brought him home to Weymouth last night and he's already settled in. He is soo adorable and is learning new things so fast. This morning Jerry and I were in the bedroom and we look down and see Brody!! Someone learned how to climb his first flight of stairs!! Enjoy the pictures and video of Brody's best friend...a Dasani bottle.

We're Home!! Our honeymoon to St. Kitts was everything we expected and more. We toured the island (Brimstone Fortress), played golf along the ocean, ate the most delicious Filet Mignon at Ottley's Plantation Inn in the rain forest, saw some island monkeys, spent the day at the Four Seasons and enjoyed Caribbean cuisine, relaxation and paradise. When can we honeymoon again?
